Or, I guess I should say two stocks I'm rere-buying and two stocks I'm rere-re-buying over the next few days. In the real money portfolio I manage for the Motley Fool, this'll be my third nibble at Citigroup (NYSE: C ) and AIG (NYSE: AIG ) and my fourth nibble at WFC (NYSE: WFC ) and Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL ) .
Call this a modified version of buying in thirds and of looking within your own portfolio for new purchases.
Before we get to the financial companies (which are the primary focus of my real money portfolio), let's start with my rationale on the most-talked-about stock in the market.
Apple
It seems I've been catching a falling knife with Apple. As the stock price has fallen from its $700 highs, I've bought in at $529, $467, and $424... and now close to $400. I continue to be bullish because Apple and its leader, Tim Cook, continue to "think different." The financial press and armchair analysts alike have been spoiled by past success and are beating the drum for Apple to wow us. Now! But panic hasn't set in in Cupertino. Cook continues to play it methodically and close to the vest, allowing the world to speculate on TVs, watches, and cheaper iPhones.

Tech stocks are flying high again today, with Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO ) taking the lead as the stock jumped 2.5% this morning. Hand in hand with Cisco is Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT ) , up 2.03%, as the two announce some joint projects to help IT customers. The companies will join Cisco's Unified Data Center architecture with Microsoft's Fast Track solutions to help reduce complexity and improve functionality for its data center customers. The two are also developing solutions for sellers of the current products to work jointly as a way to expand the data center business operations.

Apple Pay, which was unveiled in September, is a mobile payment app that allows consumers to buy things by simply holding their iPhone6 and 6 Plus devices up to readers installed by store merchants. A Rite Aid spokeswoman told the Times that the company doesn't currently accept Apple Pay. The company is "still in the process of evaluating our mobile payment options." Rite Aid and CVS aren't part of the group of retailers that had teamed up with Apple on its payment system. However, Apple Pay technology was working in Rite Aid and CVS stores over the week, the newspaper said. The reason for the disabling wasn't immediately clear, the newspaper said. According to analysts, disabling the acceptance of Apple Pay is a way to support a rival system that is being developed by Merchants Customer Exchange, a consortium of merchants that includes Rite Aid and CVS, the Times reported. MCX is developing CurrentC, an app that scans the bar code of the product and initiates the payment transfer by connecting to the customer's debit card, according to MCX's website. CurrentC won't be available until 2015. Apple, Rite Aid and CVS couldn't be immediately reached for comments outside regular U.S. business hours. Yes they can. The CARD Act did get rid of the most outrageous abuse: they can no longer increase the interest rate on existing balances unless you go 60 days past due.

Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD ) will release its quarterly report on Thursday, and investors who bucked the popular consensus that the drugstore chain was doomed to failure have reaped the rewards this year, with shares rising nearly sixfold from this time a year ago. But the question remains whether Rite Aid can truly pose a long-term challenge to CVS Caremark (NYSE: CVS ) and Walgreen (NYSE: WAG ) , especially with the extensive debt that Rite Aid still has to address.
